COLUMBUS FIRE STATION No. 6
Cummins Architectural Foundation, Columbus, IN
A satellite fire station built in the newly created southern industrial expansion of the city is situated on the knoll of a major North/South highway. In this position the facility serves as a beacon in the center of the new district and an icon for the character of new and future development. The design was funded by the Cummins Architectural Foundation, and built for the city of Columbus (Alan Joslin, as a Principal-in-Charge with William Rawn Associates, Architects, Inc).
